After purchasing our dream waterfront property in the Keys, we received notice that our house building permit had expired. Several local engineers told us that we had to start the process over. We reached out to MEA Engineers who diligently researched the situation, discovered legislation that applied to our situation, and worked to have our permit reinstated. We continued working with MEA to design and permit our dock. We encountered extensive state, federal and local hurdles to building the dock. MEA remained diligent, utilized their decades-long relationships with permitting authorities and experience building docks, and achieved success getting our permit. Thanks to MEA, we are able to continue our love of diving and fishing in the Keys right from our own backyard.
